I remember a lot of buyouts around then.maybe that is what caused it.and all those plain black splash screens with just lettering? Was always wondering about this. Has anybody besides me notice that 3ds' logo that came about in version 6 has still been the SAME since then? Seems that particular logo was really only meant to be for version 6 since it "LOOKS" like a 6? (and (2) snakes in ying-yang form (or 69 Butthead to Beavis: huh huh.
